RoboThink was started by CEO and Founder, Danny Park, being frustrated at how difficult it was to assemble a robotics kit he had purchased. Danny assembled a research team of university child researchers and toy engineers and challenged them to come up with an design for a unique robotics kit that kids of any age and skills (adults included!) could easily learn and assemble, while at the same time, teaching valuable problem solving, spatial awareness and critical thinking skills. The first class that RoboThink ran in Chicago was a tremendous hit with seats selling out fast and parents raving about the classes. Looking to share this discovery to the world, Danny franchised the innovative business model and has led the company to expand not only in the USA, but also to over 12 different countries around the world.
The world is changing very quickly. With the advent of automation, robotics and deep learning computers, it is now more important than ever to educate the next generation in STEM. RoboThink achieves this through thorough research and development of its products, educational software and curriculum. What is unique is in the approach in education RoboThink takes. RoboThink works by embedding educational concepts in the hardware and curriculum. The kids have fun, but at the same time, they don’t know that they are learning!
RoboThink is headquartered and based out of Chicago, Illinois.
